The Apollo A800R is designed for a range of small to medium diameter, short to long-distance jobs, and soft to hard rock boring projects. A800R is constructed with a quality rack-pinion system with 160 HP turbocharged with an inter-cooler Ashok Leyland engine. Along with the more powerful engine, the pullback force has increased to 20 tons with a torque rating of 6500 Nm. This combination of pullback force and torque is ideal for long-distance jobs and larger diameter applications.

The R Series is equipped with advanced electronics and powerful hydraulics, which contributes to a greater performance. It also offers an ergonomically designed, comfortable, and spacious AC operator’s cab; the operator seat can be turned 180 degree to provide better visibility. The A800R is equipped with an auto rod-loader system on the rack-pinion system to reduce manpower requirements and increase job efficiency. The A800R also features three variable drilling speeds for different ground conditions. A800R also comes with proportional operated joystick control, which is designed to match your natural wrist and arm positions during operation to reduce operator fatigue and provide maximum comfort. The A800R also features sealed and lubricated track rollers; carrier rollers and idlers that provide excellent service life and helps keep the Rig working longer in the field. Additional special features are auto-drill function and half-rotational function (optional), which enhances performance in solid conditions.
